Hum... what will this month bring us project wise and how close to making the needle move for us to be able to leave???
We installed an outlet in the cockpit so it makes it easier to grill and use that outlet to charge electronics when out there. That was a nice surprise for sure!
We got the shore power switch for the generator installed so now we can just click the dial and between shore power and generator use to turn it on. And we actually got the generator started and fully functioning, yeah-rah!
We installed our air purifier, air lock installed on both air conditioning units and let me tell you what... there is no more old boat smell. There is nothing now and it's quite pleasant to come on the boat and not have the sudden rush of musty old boat. Total game changer for us and our breathing! Thank you Airlock!
We made a huge thing happen, the Auto Pilot control was installed to the nav pod on the helm!
Plus we had the standard maintenance items like clearing out the sea strainers for the air conditioners as they seem to constantly become blocked with sea grass and gunk, cleaning up the boat now that we moved the girls off so there was a large load of their personal items that go moved into storage.
Lastly, we took a weekend off and went for a dive in Jupiter off the reef there. We took some amazing video and have that in the queue for release (we are still running about 3 months behind live time).
Now it's time to get motivated as we have realized that the penciled in date to leave of November (sometime) is quickly approaching and we have lot to do get the critical systems up and running and in place for us to be able to sustain life and get off the dock and start our adventures and exploration. We are close to accomplishing this but we need to keep our eyes on the prize and get some work done.
As usual, pictures below are for the items completed this month.
